LIfe as poetry

Night
Moon yellow street lamp
shines in my window
works as a substitution
for dreaminess
Non-Scripted
I am thirsty
I am tired
May my thirst
be supplanted
sprouts
rise
Gods’ Temple
Agate in black
twirling universe
perfection
We mudded it up
now we can’t get
back
Polar ice caps
melting methane
bubbles
Always looking
never satisfied
dead
Ah, Dust
It is a cloud we breathe
as it weaves the planet
stirring up debris
So much debris the
planet is overwhelmed
our home soon obliterated
I hear thunder booming
sky dark
Family
They were here
now they’re there
taken by the sea
or so it seems
no one noticed
anything
Dry
It grays the sky
fire and smoke
ashes down
below smolders
Discount
I must discount
so many things
to feel happiness
yet happiness
abides despite misery
it lives in the heart
