  1. Nice. I have gotten a bit more into tea lately too...as there have been some tea shops that have appeared here, which have delectable offerings.

  8. Tea is my first brew of the day. I am definitely a tea granny. I enjoyed this post with your list of exotic and favorite blends. It does read like an incantation, as the cheesewolf says. Way cool.

  10. See, this is what I love about poetry... how it can celebrate something so sweet and simple as a cup of tea. Lovely...

  11. LOVE THE FLOW!
This feels like a poetic version of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, a ritual filled with meaning and precise in it's enactment.

  12. What serenity this piece brings to mind. I've always wanted to be a tea drinker for the scene and process of making and choosing from all those teas. Wonderful poem!

  13. OOPS, I'm not a tea drinker, but it would be difficult to miss the the strong sense of feeling in these words. I agree, it does read like an incantation, or maybe a very tasteful and scented meditation.
