Dichotomies

Sound/Silence

Dichotomies wrangle my soul
I love silence
which is not never to hear
in this busy world
I love sound which is beautiful
an aria, a violin, screaming rock
a bird, a dog, a friend
I love sound
your voice

  1. So impressive, Willow. Dichotomies indeed. If only we could always have silence when we wanted it and always have ONLY the sounds that we liked to listen to! No dissonance.

  2. Nicely balanced piece! Romantic, too.

  4. So well said. So much of life is dichotomies. I like, but I don't like so much. Great poem of truth and life.
