Perhaps

Perhaps

I carry grief in secret
in the marrow of my hips
in stillness I hear the clatter

out the window crocuses
strewn colors as if by hand
flower from brilliance perhaps

  1. This is good Willow. I gave it several reads, and my impressions changed a bit each time. Lovely phrasing.

  3. Willow, this is good! I liked the 'perhaps' ending, as if it is still a bit questionable! This is, I think, my favorite of wordle poems you have written.

I'm having trouble posting my comment, so I'm adding it here. My apologies.

This is a brilliant use of the wordle words: crisp, to the point and so expressive!
