Leaping


Leaping

phantom brook
dry rocky hollow
no fish  no birds
sunken limbs
not new
although if water
should come leaping
there might be
enough to grow
wood again
replenish life
no walls
never say never

    Sad, but yes, let's hope it comes back. There's a creek near our place that I'm mourning. This really makes me think about it. And I agree with Mary and with you, I will never say never.
