Scent
I still scent you
here and there
gone
A fleck of sway
skimmed me away
gone
I fell for you
in a bad way
gone
A load of sand
held in my hand
gone
I load and heap
fill over and over
gone
again
I sight my felt
horror

So much is gone, Willow. This saddens me but makes for good poetry. Well wordled.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me how different everyones slant on the same words is. An intriguing piece.
ReplyDeleteSeemed so "fun" to read! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSo lost, so empty, so gone. Wonderfully written.
ReplyDeleteSo many ways to say gone, but they all end with the same feeling of horror. Well written and wordled,
