Doing Frost

It's cold here
our hearts are incased in fear
everything is frost glazed
we try to think our way free
we want it how it used to be

  4. Two of my kids have chronic illnesses. This is exactly how I felt upon learning of their diagnoses. And then, with time, the thaw came and spring renewed my hope.
