Nickers

Preludes to perform
I fix their tinted wings
at just the right split

Drifts of vivid butterflies
gentle waves of limbs
tinny dance insidious

they make their rounds
sashay between seats
be careful of their nick

  1. Love that last stanza, Willow...your wordings and the wonderful word 'sashay.'

  2. Thanks for the kind words upon visiting my little blogs. Although my skill level for interpreting poetry is quite minimal I do love it and yours especially "values" touched my heart. I tend to the "romantics" and Ozymandus by Shelly and Dover Beach by Matthew Arnold are my favorites... :)

  9. Is a butterfly "nick" the same as a butterfly kiss? Love your write!
